I’ve left a few of the listings of SOLD speakers below for reference
You are welcome to come demo Volti Audio speakers here at our facility in Baxter, TN by appointment. Come hear your speakers and get a tour of the shop where they are built.
Southern hospitality is on display here at Volti Audio! Come on, I’ll pick you up at the airport and drop you back off. A demo can be done in one day, or if you’d like to stay overnight, I’ve got a nice bed setup in the veneer room of the shop! It’s a mostly dust-free environment, lol, and very comfortable. You even get your own bathroom.
If you’re seriously considering the purchase of a pair of Volti Audio speakers, it’s worth the cost of a plane ticket, and I think you’ll really enjoy the experience of seeing my manufacturing process and spending some time listening to these great speakers.
Pre-owned Mahogany Razz
I’ve got a great deal for you on a pair of like new condition Razz V1 speakers in mahogany veneer with black stretch grills. These were traded in on a pair of Luceras. I’ve inspected them carefully and I can’t find a single scratch on the veneer. They have been tested and I also spent some time listening to them. I made a couple of small changes to the crossovers and I’m very happy with how these sound.
These are from the first batch of Razz built – serial numbers 011, 012
Call me or send a text or email for the price.
Red Gum – Teak – Walnut – Mahogany – Black Razz
Stump Walnut Razz
Olive Ash Razz
Blue Razz
Here is a pair of the NEW Razz Decorator model – $5,500/pair
Decorator Razz have NO FINISH. They are offered in plain, raw birch plywood. Paint them, stain them, put a coat of polyurethane on them, or just leave them as is. They are exactly the same construction quality, they use the same materials, components, and crossovers, they are broken-in, tested, and packaged with the same care as any Razz speaker, and they have the same great sound. The only difference is they do not have veneer or clear finish.
Here’s my opinion though. And I’m not trying to talk you out of buying Decorator Razz and then doing your own finish to them. I just want to say that If you find yourself thinking about staining or painting these speakers, that tells me that you care about how your speakers look and I want you to know that your money will be well spent buying Razz with the beautiful wood veneer and finish work that we do to them at the $7,500 price point.
I offer the Decorator Razz for the person who sits in their dark room in the basement listening to music and couldn’t give a hoot about how they look. For that person, I think these are a perfect fit.
Etimoe and Padauk Luceras
I have three pairs of Lucera speakers on offer at a very special price.
Two pair are veneered with Etimoe, a wood that is similar to Red Gum in appearance, with darker heartwood split down the middle by a sapwood stripe. It’s a bit darker and has a bit more texture to the surface than Red Gum.
One pair is veneered with Padauk, from a tree in Africa with a deep red color tone. That’s the natural color of the wood – no dyes or stains used.
Regular price is $11,750 per pair, but I’ve priced these at $9,750 until they are gone. Includes black stretch grills. That’s the lowest price you’ll ever see on Lucera speakers, so take advantage of this opportune time to buy.
I wish I had more hours in the day. I haven’t had the time to take proper photographs of these speakers, and now that they are boxed up and put away, I especially don’t have the time to unbox them for photos. I’m sorry about that. I do have a few odd photos to show however, so hopefully that will give you a good enough idea of what they look like.

Lucera in Red Gum
Sorry you missed out on this beautiful pair of Lucera speakers. I will be making more Luceras soon!
The New Lucera speakers from Volti Audio made a good impression on the folks who got to hear them at the 2023 Florida Audio Expo. The Red Gum wood veneer installed on this pair probably came from a big old oak tree that grew in a swamp in Mississippi. Look closely at the grain picture – spectacular! $11,750 with black stretch grills (pictured below) and $12,250 with any of our Premium grills (Light Beige pictured below).

Rival Type 2, Cerejeira – spotted, with Clear Satin Lacquer Finish
Sorry you missed out on this unique pair of ‘Bobcat’ Rivals. They are very cool aren’t they? I most always have some unique veneers kicking around the shop that I can put on your pair of speakers. Just send me an email and ask what I have.
Cerajeira wood does not always have a spotted pattern like this. There is something about the way they cut this veneer from the log that brought out these very unique spots in the grain.
Here at the shop we are calling these the ‘bobcat’ Rivals. One of our favorite veneers.

Sorry you missed out on this beautiful pair of Volti Audio horn speakers, but I have plenty of other nice offerings. Call me if you’d like to know what’s coming up.
Up for sale we have a pair of Volti Audio Alura speakers built in 2019 and finished in one of the most beautiful veneers I’ve ever seen – a very special Bosse Cedar with a 3D grain effect that I’ve never seen on a veneer before.
These are the very best Alura speakers I built, and include custom external crossovers, and Triode Wire Labs internal wiring throughout.
They were lovingly cared for by their previous owner and there’s not a scratch or mark on them anywhere. They are just like new speakers.
They’ve been completely checked over by me and function better than new – completely broken in and sounding better than ever.
It has been some time since I’ve heard one of my larger format speakers (Vittora, Alura) and WOW is all I can say regarding the music I heard coming from these when I plugged them into my demo system. Startlingly real soundstage and deeper bass than I’m used to. These are big speakers, and the scale of music from them is also big. If you’ve heard my Rival speakers – in your mind – think of the musical experience you had times two and that would be a good description of what you’ll hear from these.
SOLD
Razz, Rosewood Veneer, Clear Satin Lacquer Finish
Sorry you missed out on this beautiful pair of Volti Audio horn speakers, but I have plenty of other nice offerings. Call me if you’d like to know what’s coming up.
Here’s a pair of demo Razz in a very unique rosewood veneer. Notice how the veneer layout is wrapped around the speaker cabinet and mirrored from left to right speaker. Who does that?!
Like new, not a scratch on them. They come with premium black woven cloth grills.
They are nicely broken in and sound fantastic.
SOLD
Razz, Mahogany Veneer, Clear Satin Lacquer Finish
Sorry you missed out on this beautiful pair of Volti Audio horn speakers, but I have plenty of other nice offerings. Call me if you’d like to know what’s coming up.
Whenever I see the Mahogany Razz as they come out of the paint room, the golden red tone of the wood makes me think of restored antique furniture. Deep, rich color and a nice texture from the grain of the wood, you just can’t go wrong with the choice of Mahogany on Razz speakers.
They come with black stretch cloth grills or choose to upgrade to Premium grills for an extra $400.
SOLD
Rival Type 2, European Oak, with Clear Gloss Lacquer Finish
Sorry you missed out on this beautiful pair of Volti Audio horn speakers, but I have plenty of other nice offerings. Call me if you’d like to know what’s coming up.
Sometimes when I’m shopping for veneer I find the coolest stuff, and this is one of them. European Oak with the burls, or birds-eyes or whatever you want to call those gorgeous figures in the wood.
I often start my first couple of coats of lacquer with a gloss and then finish with a satin. When I put the gloss on this veneer I really loved how it looked and decided to simply finish with gloss.
The golden color and beautiful figuring of this wood are enough to make these speakers very desirable, but when you add in the texture that this veneer has, it’s over the top! I took a couple of close-up shots to show the texture. Many veneers like Red Gum or Maple don’t have this texture, and many speaker manufacturers smooth out an interesting wood texture with heavy coats of finish. Pfffft. I say celebrate the wood texture!
